why don't you have a delivery fee?

we take care of paying for the drivers. We pay them an above average salary. the more orders we can deliver in bulk, the less the cost it is for each individual orders delivery fee. we cover that so you don't need to worry, as long as there is a critical mass of deliveries. so bring on your friends!

do we have to tip?

No! we take care of all of the payments to the drivers so you can enjoy your meal!

how does the $49.99 meal plan work?

super simple. think of it as a weekly food fund. you put in $49.99, and that becomes your credit for the week. every dish you order is at or below ubereats prices, and your credit gets used up as you go. plus, you never pay for tips, service, or delivery fees—ever. if you use up your $49.99, you can still order and just pay the difference, still with no extra fees. your credit refreshes every week unless you pause or cancel. easy, right?

how do you choose your restaurants?

we consider a holistic set of factors including taste, price, variety of food, dietary restrictions etc. if you dont see a restaurant that fits your taste, let us know at team@thelilac.app we will try to bring it on to our platform:).

what are your delivery hours?

we deliver at 6:00 to 6:30 PM directly to your apartment building.

How do we pick up the orders.

lilac will send you a notification as soon as the order arrives at your building. All of the orders will be tagged with your first initial and last name when it gets delivered to your building.
